OpenHeart is a couples conversation starter app. After a quick setup, you choose a topic category and the number of questions for your session. The app then guides you through thoughtfully crafted questions one at a time — you can answer them together, take turns, or reflect solo. After your session, your progress is saved so you can see how your connection grows over time.

OpenHeart uses a progressive question system — it tracks every question you've seen and prioritizes fresh ones first. You won't see a question repeated until you've worked through every question in that category. Once you've explored them all, the cycle resets with a fresh shuffle, so each round still feels new.

Yes — your session is automatically saved as you go. You can end a session early and come back to it another time. There's no pressure to finish in one sitting.

Currently, OpenHeart uses initials and gradient avatars rather than photos to keep the experience simple and private. Profile customization features — including the option to add a photo — are planned for an upcoming release. Stay tuned for updates!

You can reset your progress from the Settings screen in the app. Tap your profile in the tab bar, then tap the settings icon in the top corner. Scroll down to find the "Reset All Data" option. Please note this action is permanent and will clear your question history, session records, and milestones.

You can permanently delete all your data directly from the app. Go to your Profile tab, tap the settings icon in the top corner, and scroll down to "Reset All Data". This will erase everything — your names, session history, question records, and milestones — from your device immediately. Since all data is stored locally on your device, this is a complete and permanent deletion. If you need further assistance, contact us.

Absolutely. OpenHeart stores all your personal data locally on your device — your answers, session history, and partner names never leave your phone unless you explicitly choose to share them. We don't sell or share your data with third parties. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.
